Proverbs says, “Without Vision the People Perish”. This four week spring program is one of the many ways that CCPA casts vision. This program is designed to inspire students to pursue higher education and to prepare them for future aspirations.
A simulated university setting is formed, in which each classroom chooses a higher education institution to represent the program for that group of students. Motivational themes are selected for each group of students. Within each theme, extensive career educational programming is integrated with focused academic goals, along with the opportunity to earn a mock degree.
In this program, the strong academic enrichment encourages exposure to the many career options, and allows students to better identify interests. In addition, students are encouraged to development those interests in which they are most passionate.
