Background

David Speers has a powerful story about his journey to becoming an educator. As a student, David was labeled with a learning disability and a hearing disability. His life was transformed by caring teacher and he became determined to overcome these obstacles. Now David is an Assistant Principal for the Middle School at CCPA. He is also an international speaker working with international schools, churches and other organizations. David believes his purpose is to help people overcome different obstacles. He has learned how vital education is in life and uses what he has learned to help others.

David graduated with a Masters Degree in Theology with a specialty in Counseling. David is the author of two motivational books and is the President and Founder of a non-profit organization called Focus Enterprise. The mission statement for Focus is to reach, teach and develop this generation with the goal of helping them to focus on their purpose and to fulfill their dreams. Our nation will not see its splendor until this generation makes its contribution to society.  

David began at C.C.P.A in 1999 and has held many roles; from a classroom instructor teaching Character Education, Administrator, Building Coordinator, Transportation Coordinator and Support of Pupil Services. He believes “Keeping the students motivated and academically focused is key to their educational success and that CCPA has created the culture for this to happen”.
